Enfoques y Alcances
OBJECTIVES:
To promote open-access, multidisciplinary academic articles published every six months that link knowledge, teaching, and research practices. This addresses the needs of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico to validate, update, and standardize its research and academic training production and foster scientific and humanistic vocations in young readers and citizens. We welcome contributions from various universities, institutes, and study centers throughout Latin America. Our peer review process is double-blind.
Science and Philosophy | Academic Journal is an open space that promotes critical reflection on knowledge, culture, practices, and discourses that legitimize them. It is a forum for communication, participation, and feedback that promotes dissemination, creativity, and exchange, with an interdisciplinary approach and openness to the multiplicity of knowledge that characterizes knowledge as solidarity.
In two calls per year, it publishes 22 to 30 articles, including reviews and interviews, related to the following topics and their transversality according to the following approaches:
Public Policies in Science and the Humanities
Philosophy and Ethics Applied to Scientific Discourse
Education, Assessment, and Teaching Strategies
Research and Project Dissemination
Inspired by the framework of the Salvador, Bahía Declaration (2005), it promotes the involvement of new and established authors in the counter-hegemonic debate, integrating their contributions into thematic and/or open issues in accordance with its Call for Papers.
